Recruitment of Local Food Processing Companies
for the 2025 Food Week Korea Expo
Opportunities for Promotion and Sales Channel Expansion at COEX in October
The Sejong City Agricultural Technology Center is recruiting local agricultural food processing companies to participate in the '2025 Food Week Korea' expo. This expo will be held at COEX in Seoul for four days, from October 29 to November 1.
Eligible applicants include local food and agricultural corporations utilizing regional agricultural specialty products, manufacturing and processing companies, food manufacturing and processing businesses, and instant food manufacturers. Companies wishing to participate must visit the Specialized Resources Division of the Agricultural Technology Center by August 26 with the required documents, such as the application form and business status report, to apply.
The Center plans to operate a promotional booth to raise awareness of the excellence of processed products made from local agricultural products and to provide processing companies with opportunities to develop new sales channels. Three companies will be selected to participate. The Center will offer opportunities for consultations with domestic and international buyers, promote agricultural food products through the processed goods exhibition hall, and support the development of new sales channels.
The selection criteria for participating companies include business capability, product competitiveness, and potential impact. However, applicants who have previously received support for the same expo (exhibition) will be excluded from priority consideration.
Pi Okja, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, stated, "This expo is not just a venue to showcase products; it will also provide a valuable opportunity to build networks with domestic and international buyers and distributors and to receive direct feedback from consumers. We look forward to the active participation of local companies."
