"Expert with Experience at Netflix and YouTube"
On August 18, The Walt Disney Company announced the appointment of Tony Zametzkovsky, former Vice President and Co-Head of the Asia Pacific region and Head of Partnerships at Netflix, as Senior Vice President and Head of DTC, Asia Pacific.
Zametzkovsky, who began his career in the content industry at Warner Bros. International Television in Paris, previously served as a key executive at YouTube, where he successfully established the music business across the Asia Pacific region. At Netflix, he led market expansion in Asia Pacific for nine years from the early days of the business, driving strategic partnerships and multi-channel campaigns.
Disney stated, "He is an expert with more than 25 years of global experience in the media, entertainment, and tech sectors," adding, "He will lead the growth and development of Disney's streaming business across the Asia Pacific region."
