Sungjae Im and Siwoo Kim will compete on the domestic stage this October.

On August 18, it was announced that both players will participate in the Genesis Championship, which is co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and the Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour. The tournament will be held over four days starting October 23 at Woojeong Hills Country Club in Cheonan, Chungnam Province. Sungjae Im, who won the Genesis Championship in 2019, will be aiming for his second title at the event. He finished tied for second in 2023. Im stated, "I take great pride in having won the Genesis Championship in the past. That victory was especially meaningful because it was my first career win in my home country, Korea." He added, "It is always an honor to compete at home, and I am really looking forward to having that opportunity again this year. The passionate support from the fans in Korea always gives me energy and motivation."

Siwoo Kim will make his debut at the Genesis Championship. This will also mark his first domestic tournament appearance in about three years, since the 2022 Shinhan Donghae Open. Kim said, "I'm truly excited to play in Korea again after such a long time. Several years have passed since my last appearance here, and I've been looking forward to reconnecting with my fans at home. I hope to deliver a strong performance in response to their support at this tournament."
