At around 7:28 p.m. on August 14, an electric vehicle driven by a man in his 70s crashed into a clothing store in Jowon-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul.
According to fire authorities and other sources, there were two employees inside the store at the time, but no injuries were reported. The driver, who is known to be a substitute driver, reportedly told police that he confused the pedals. There was no indication that the driver had consumed alcohol or drugs.
The police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
