Naver CEO Choi Suyeon received a total compensation of 2.55 billion won in the first half of the year, making her one of the highest-paid executives. Choi's total compensation exceeded that of Lee Haejin, the founder and Chairman of the Board at Naver.
According to Naver's semi-annual report released on August 14, Choi received 450 million won in salary, 2.061 billion won in bonuses, and 39 million won in other employment income, totaling 2.55 billion won for the first half of the year.

As of the end of the first half, Naver had 4,856 employees (including contract workers), and the average salary per employee was 92 million won, up 16 million won from the previous year.

Kakao CEO Jung Sinah followed, receiving 425 million won in salary, 504 million won in bonuses, and 4 million won in other employment income, for a total of 933 million won in the first half.
Meanwhile, Kim Beomsoo, Head of the Future Initiative Center, is a non-registered executive. Although his compensation ranked among the top five, he was not subject to the disclosure requirement for executives receiving more than 500 million won, so his salary was not disclosed in the semi-annual report.
