This year marks the 21st edition of the iM Bank Children's Art Contest, which was specially organized under the theme "The Meaning and Historical Value of Liberation." More than 3,500 kindergarten and elementary school students from across the country participated. Of these, over 250 finalists who passed the preliminary round competed in three regions: Daegu, Seoul, and Gumi.

As a result of the judging, the grand prize, which comes with the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Award, was awarded to Lee Seoyoung (Bisan Elementary School, Gumi) and Jang Ajun (Maechon Elementary School, Daegu). In total, 1,253 students received awards: 18 gold prizes, 27 silver prizes, 70 bronze prizes, 102 special prizes, and 1,034 honorable mentions.

The school group award was given to eight schools, including Seongdong Elementary School and Dongcheon Elementary School. Each school received a development fund of 500,000 won and the iM Bank President's Award.

Kim Jong-sul stated, "I hope this art contest serves as an opportunity to convey the history of Liberation and the spirit of patriotism to future generations," adding, "The values of veterans' affairs were vividly expressed in the children's artwork."

All works that received silver prizes or higher will be exhibited in the lobby of the iM Bank Second Headquarters until the 29th of this month.
