Joeun Food Dream Undertakes Full Renewal of 'Obongjip' Website in Digital Branding Collaboration with Zello

Joeun Food Dream, led by CEO Ahn Kwangsun, which operates the Korean cuisine brand Obongjip, is undertaking a complete renewal of its official website to strengthen brand competitiveness. This project is being carried out in collaboration with the integrated advertising agency Zello Co., Ltd., headed by CEO Jung Sophia, and is focused on modernizing Obongjip's digital touchpoints and further solidifying its brand assets.


Obongjip entered the market in 2020 with a unique menu featuring stir-fried octopus and bossam. In particular, the "Obongjip Special" (stir-fried octopus + bossam + buckwheat noodles) quickly gained popularity through word of mouth due to its versatility-suitable for both lunch and dinner, as well as a side dish for alcoholic beverages-and its modern reinterpretation of popular Korean cuisine.


Currently, Obongjip ranks first in the category of octopus bossam specialty brands. Despite a sluggish restaurant industry, it has surpassed 300 locations nationwide and is on the verge of reaching its 310th store. Furthermore, the brand is actively expanding into overseas markets, having opened a location in the Kanda area of Tokyo, Japan. This demonstrates both the brand’s scalability and sustainability.


This website renewal aims to clearly convey the brand’s identity and philosophy in line with its growth, as well as to establish a digital platform that can comprehensively manage franchise inquiries and customer touchpoints.


Zello Co., Ltd., which is responsible for the website development, plans to effectively realize Obongjip’s brand value online by overseeing not only user experience (UX)-oriented information architecture but also brand visuals, content strategy, and copywriting.
