Nolbu-Hwami Women's Open Signing Ceremony Held
Total Prize Money of 1.2 Billion Won, 31 Tournaments in Total
Record-Breaking Prize Pool Surpassing Last Year's 33.2 Billion Won
The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour has set a new record for the highest total prize money in a single season.
On August 13, the KLPGA held a signing ceremony for the Nolbu-Hwami Women's Open at the KLPGA building in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. This is a new tournament with a total prize fund of 1.2 billion won and a winner's purse of 216 million won. With this addition, the 2025 KLPGA Tour will feature a total of 31 tournaments and a combined prize pool of 34.3 billion won, marking the largest prize fund in its history. The previous record for the highest total prize money in a single season was approximately 33.2 billion won, set last year.

The Nolbu-Hwami Women's Open will be held over three days from October 10 at 88 Country Club in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. Park Mihui, Chairwoman of the Nolbu-Hwami Board, stated, "We will do our utmost to prepare the tournament so that we can provide the best stage for the players and create special memories for the fans." Kim Sangyeol, Chairman of KPGA, responded, "We will support the successful hosting of the Nolbu-Hwami Women's Open, which is newly joining the KLPGA Tour."
