iM Bank Offers CU Convenience Store Gift Certificates to Foreign Currency Delivery Service Applicants

iM Bank is launching the "Currency Exchange Is a Hassle, But I Still Want to Travel!" event, offering convenience store gift certificates on a first-come, first-served basis to customers who apply for the "iM Foreign Currency Delivery Service," which allows users to select the time and place to receive their foreign currency.

This service, which was launched last month, enables customers to conveniently receive foreign currency at their desired location or at a CU convenience store without having to visit a bank branch.

Through the iM Bank application (app), customers can set the location and time for delivery (with a separate delivery fee). For in-person pickup, all regions nationwide can be selected as the pickup location, except for counties outside metropolitan cities (counties within metropolitan cities are included). The CU convenience store option is available at 217 CU locations in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, and other metropolitan areas, as well as in Daegu and the Gyeongbuk region (Gumi, Pohang, Gyeongsan), with plans to expand nationwide in the future.

To commemorate the launch, the "Currency Exchange Is a Hassle, But I Still Want to Travel!" customer event will take place from August 14 to September 30. Customers who apply for currency exchange through the iM Foreign Currency Delivery Service during this period are eligible, and the first 2,000 participants will receive a CU mobile gift certificate worth 5,000 KRW. Once the delivery of the requested foreign currency begins, customers can claim the gift certificate by clicking "Receive CU Coupon" on the event page.

Bank President Hwang Byungwoo stated, "We hope many customers will participate in iM Bank's 'iM Foreign Currency Delivery Service' and this event, which are part of our efforts to enhance financial services in everyday life through differentiated collaborations that break conventional boundaries. We will continue to expand customer-focused and differentiated foreign exchange services in the future."
