Attorney Lee Chanjin was nominated as the new Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service on August 13.
On this day, Kim Byunghwan, Chairman of the Financial Services Commission, recommended Attorney Lee Chanjin as the successor to former Governor Lee Bokhyun following a resolution at a special meeting of the commission. The Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service is recommended by the Chairman of the Financial Services Commission and appointed by the President.
