Jungang Park covers a total area of 448,192 square meters, consisting of 347,625 square meters of park facilities and 100,567 square meters of non-park facilities. The project is being jointly implemented by Gwangju City and G Park Development Co., Ltd.

The main facilities include a glamping site, a loess trail, Nanseolheon Yard, the Forest of Literature, and Meongmeong Park. The buildings, which are currently in the final stages of completion, include the (tentatively named) Child Growth Center, a visitor center, a transfer parking lot, a reading lounge, and a glamping management building.

Once the park is completed, it is expected to provide citizens with a pleasant space for relaxation and leisure, as well as essential infrastructure. This will not only improve overall welfare, but also contribute to revitalizing local businesses and alleviating traffic congestion.
