Bithumb Launches 80th Liberation Anniversary Donation Campaign with Lakai Korea

On August 13, Bithumb announced that it is launching a donation campaign to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day, aiming to reflect on the significance of history and fulfill its social responsibility. This campaign is jointly organized by Bithumb and Lakai Korea, a fashion brand known for delivering social messages. The campaign will run until August 31.

Lakai Korea is a fashion brand that pursues values resonating across generations, striving to promote the correct history and identity of Korea through various activities and patriotic designs such as 'Correcting Historical Distortions,' 'Promoting Dokdo,' and 'Supporting Descendants of Independence Patriots.'

This donation campaign is based on member participation. During the campaign period, if a user signs up as a new member on Bithumb and registers a donation code from the Lakai Korea event page in the Bithumb app, a donation of 10,000 KRW will be made automatically.

Additionally, new Bithumb members will receive a 'Liberation 80th Anniversary Commemorative Gift' to encourage participation and express gratitude. The support package, which includes a welcome mission, may contain up to 50,000 KRW in Bithumb KRW, a Lakai Korea 1945 limited edition T-shirt, a Taegeukgi badge, a bracelet, or a mug, with the latter three items randomly included.

If an existing Bithumb member registers a donation code, 1,000 KRW will be donated, and as a token of appreciation, 815 KRW in Bithumb KRW will be provided.

A prize draw event will also be held for all participants. Among those who register a donation code, a total of 270 winners will be selected to receive prizes such as a Lakai Korea 1945 eco-bag (200 winners), a Lakai Korea Dokdo Seed Moisture Cream (50 winners), and a Lakai Korea KR ball cap (20 winners).

All donated funds will be delivered in full to Habitat for Humanity Korea, an international non-profit housing organization, and will be used to improve the living conditions of descendants of independence patriots.

The coupon code can be registered only once per Bithumb account. To participate in the campaign, users must sign up for Bithumb membership, complete customer verification (KYC), and link a KB Kookmin Bank account.
