Chungcheong Metropolitan Tour Pass
Now Recruiting New Affiliated Businesses
for Full-Scale Operation and Regional Tourism Promotion
The Chungcheong Metropolitan Union announced on August 12 that it is recruiting new affiliated businesses to support the full-scale operation of the Chungcheong Metropolitan Tour Pass, a regional tourism product that allows free access to major tourist attractions in the Chungcheong region.
The Chungcheong Metropolitan Tour Pass is an integrated pass that enables convenient access to major attractions in Daejeon, Sejong, North Chungcheong, and South Chungcheong. Launched on July 30, it is available in two formats: the Landmark Type (Free Type), which allows users to freely visit major attractions, and the Theme Package Type, which is organized by region and theme.
The Landmark Type (Free Type) currently offers 12 tourism and experience services at 9 affiliated facilities across the four cities and provinces. Users can freely choose to visit 2 locations within 30 days for 29,900 won, or 3 locations for 49,900 won.
The Theme Package Type is a fixed package product that offers discounts of about 50% off the regular price. Eligible applicants include tourism-related businesses in the Chungcheong region, such as tourist attractions, exhibition and viewing facilities, and theme or experience venues. The tour pass is sold at a 50% discount compared to the regular price through online channels such as Naver Smart Store, Coupang, and the Tour Pass Mall, managed by the operating agency. Of the discount, 25% is subsidized by the Chungcheong Metropolitan Union, while the remaining 25% is covered by the affiliated businesses.
Affiliated businesses provide services to customers who present a mobile ticket and receive settlement payments based on the actual number of users. Once registered as an affiliate, facility information and benefits will be promoted through the official tour pass channels, offering publicity benefits. In addition, businesses can attract more tourists through connections with major online sales platforms.
A representative of the Chungcheong Metropolitan Union stated, "The Chungcheong Tour Pass will offer tourists a rational travel experience and help promote lesser-known attractions in the region. We look forward to the active participation of a wide range of tourism-related businesses."
