Yangju City Holds Meeting with Volunteer Fire Brigade Leaders
Strengthening Cooperation for a Safer Community
On August 12, the city of Yangju held a meeting with the Volunteer Fire Brigade Association to discuss ways to strengthen the community safety network.

The meeting was attended by more than 10 local brigade leaders, including Ban Kinam and Kim Seongyeong, the association heads. During the session, they listened to the difficulties and suggestions experienced during field activities and explored ways to cooperate for a safer community, including support for disaster response activities.
The Yangju Volunteer Fire Brigade consists of 16 units with a total of 398 members. Through activities such as safety environment campaigns, CPR training, and support for various disasters including fires and floods, the brigade contributes to raising public awareness of safety.
Mayor Yang Suhyun expressed his deep gratitude for the active efforts of the volunteer firefighters and requested their continued support and cooperation to achieve the goal of "a safe and green city," which is the main objective of the 8th popularly elected administration.
