Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Offers 4-Week Summer Overseas Training for Students Aspiring to Work in Japan

Summer Overseas Training Program Opens Doors to Japan
Cheonghaejin University Graduates Find Success in Japanese Job Market After COVID-19 Barriers

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Youngdo) is operating the "2025 Cheonghaejin University Summer Overseas Training" program from July 28 to August 22 for students aspiring to work in Japan.

This four-week, 120-hour program includes 11 current students who will receive intensive Japanese language training and local education in Japan to strengthen their adaptability to the local environment.

During the COVID-19 period, overseas employment opportunities were blocked due to visa issuance and entry restrictions. However, since early 2022, when entry to Japan became possible again, Cheonghaejin University graduates have steadily advanced into Japanese companies. Starting with two graduates in 2019, three in 2020, one in 2021, nine in 2022, ten in 2023, and six in 2024 have departed and are currently working in Japan.

Kim Sungwon, head of the Career Support Center at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, stated, "We will expand overseas employment opportunities through systematic education and thorough student management based on cooperation with Japanese companies," adding, "We will actively support more students to take on challenges on the global stage."

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has been selected as a Cheonghaejin University operating institution for eight consecutive years and is offering a variety of overseas programs to nurture global talent.
