The 43rd Geumsan World Ginseng Festival, themed "Children, I Love You," will be held from September 19 to 28 at the Geumsan World Ginseng Expo Plaza and throughout the Ginseng Herbal Medicine Street area.

To prepare for the event, Geumsan County held a progress briefing for the 43rd Geumsan World Ginseng Festival on August 11 in the county office situation room, presided over by County Governor Park Beomin and attended by over 30 participants, including directors and heads of main departments, affiliated agencies, and business offices.

During the briefing, the county carefully reviewed festival site safety, traffic and parking, sanitation, volunteer management, and convenience facilities to enhance the quality of the festival program and increase visitor satisfaction.

The festival will highlight the outstanding health benefits of Geumsan ginseng as the best gift to protect family happiness. Plans include strengthening game-based content using robots and artificial intelligence (AI) inspired by ginseng, as well as introducing new ginseng food offerings tailored to the tastes of younger generations.

Additionally, the festival will feature K-pop and dance competitions, Hanbok experiences, and red ginseng facial mask massages?K-content popular among international visitors. The county will also make every effort to attract foreign tourists by organizing familiarization tours for foreign journalists and influencers, and by leveraging international networks with organizations, companies, and groups.

To encourage visitors to stay longer on weekend evenings, the festival will offer a variety of nighttime attractions, food, and hands-on experiences. Rest areas will also be expanded around the lawn plaza using flowers, art shade structures, and emotional props.

Park Beomin, Governor of Geumsan County, stated, "Above all, we must focus on ensuring the festival is safe for everyone in order to make it a success. As Geumsan County has been selected as an Asian Festival City by the International Festivals & Events Association, let us work together to present content that will satisfy both domestic and international visitors and help the festival grow into a world-class event."
