Netflix to Release "Eunjung and Sangyeon" on September 12

Starring Kim Goeun and Park Jihyun, Directed by Cho Youngmin

Netflix announced on August 12 that the series "Eunjung and Sangyeon," starring actors Kim Go-eun and Park Ji-hyun, will be released on September 12.

This drama portrays the complex relationship between two friends who, from their teens to their forties, experience moments of deep affection, admiration, jealousy, and resentment toward each other. The series is directed by Cho Youngmin, who previously worked on "Do You Like Brahms?" and "Understanding of Love."

He explained, "I thought 'companionship' was the essence of this work," adding, "As you follow the lives of Eunjung and Sangyeon, you may encounter your past self, be reminded of a friend, or find connections to your own life or the lives of those around you." He continued, "I believe viewers may come to understand someone, forgive someone, or even discover something about themselves."
