Muju County to Hold 'Tourism Video and Short-form Contest' Until End of October

10 Winners to Be Selected

Muju County in North Jeolla Province will hold the '2025 Muju Tourism Video and Short-form Contest' until October 31, 2025, to promote tourism in the region.

According to the county on August 12, eligibility for the contest is open to any team of up to four people or individuals who are interested in Muju tourism.

The contest accepts entries that have not been previously published, including videos featuring Muju County's tourism resources, works showcasing the natural scenery of tourist attractions throughout the four seasons, as well as a variety of themes such as festivals, experiential tourism, cultural events, and food.

The results of the judging will be announced in November 2025. A total of 10 winners will receive 7.5 million won in prize money, including 2 million won for the Grand Prize in the video category (1 winner), 1.5 million won for the Grand Prize in the short-form category (1 winner), as well as Excellence Awards (2 winners per category) and Encouragement Awards (2 winners per category).

Lee Hyunwoo, head of the county's Tourism Promotion Division, said, "We organized this contest to promote the beautiful natural scenery and tourist attractions of Muju throughout the four seasons through various types of content. We hope this will provide an opportunity to showcase well-known attractions from a new perspective, and to properly introduce hidden gems."
