bhc Opens Fifth US Location 'Carlsbad' in California

From Delivery and Takeout to Full Dining Service
Featuring Signature Menus Like Bburinkle and Chicken Sandwich

Dining Brands Group announced on August 12 that its chicken brand bhc has newly opened its fifth US location, 'bhc Carlsbad,' in California.

Carlsbad is a transportation hub adjacent to a large shopping mall and two major highways. It is also close to San Diego, making it a vibrant commercial area with a high volume of foot traffic. Leveraging the high demand for dining out in this prime location, bhc plans to focus on delivery and takeout services to expand its customer base.

The new 'bhc Carlsbad' store covers approximately 105 square meters and features 20 indoor seats, allowing it to operate as a full-service restaurant (FSR) as well.

The store offers bhc’s signature menu item, 'Bburinkle,' along with a variety of chicken pieces such as wings. It also features localized menu items, including the chicken sandwich, which has become a popular choice in the US.

Brian Shin, CEO of bhc USA, stated, "In addition to our existing premium pub and full-service restaurant locations, this new delivery and takeout-focused store is a strategic format that increases flexibility for our franchise partners in choosing store types. We will continue to strive to provide diverse brand experiences for both local US consumers and our franchise partners."

Meanwhile, since entering the US market in 2023, bhc has rapidly expanded its store network. Including the new Carlsbad location, the company now operates a total of five stores in the US. These include two directly operated stores?'LA Farmers Market' and 'Chapman Plaza'?as well as three franchise locations: 'San Diego Sorrento Valley,' 'Rancho Bernardo,' and the third franchise, 'Carlsbad.' bhc is accelerating its efforts to penetrate the North American market with a variety of store formats.
