Mentoring Sessions Including Financial Education
The Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service (headed by Cho Junhee) has stepped up to support the self-reliance of local children and adolescents.
On August 11, the headquarters invited around 50 adolescents affiliated with six "Haneulbanchanggo Kids" partner facilities and the Busan Youth Self-Reliance Support Center to hold a career mentoring event titled "Wings Toward Dreams."

"Haneulbanchanggo Kids" is a flagship program of the National Health Insurance Service that utilizes a social contribution fund to provide care and support for self-reliance to children in child care facilities until they reach adulthood (age 18).
At the event, two employees of the headquarters introduced key job responsibilities and the recruitment process, and shared their own experiences of overcoming failure as part of their career exploration journey. An invited financial expert provided practical financial education, and during the subsequent small-group mentoring sessions, the adolescents discussed their concerns about careers and daily life and received messages of encouragement.
Cho Junhee, head of the regional headquarters, said, "I hope today's experience will serve as a solid foundation for the adolescents," and added, "The National Health Insurance Service will continue to be a strong supporter for future generations."
