Yangju City held basic training at Okjeong Lake Library for 29 newly hired public officials for the second half of 2025 over two days starting from the 7th, aiming to establish the proper sense of public duty and enhance their adaptability to the public sector.
This training was designed to help new public officials cultivate the right mindset and basic job skills as civil servants, deepen their understanding of Yangju City, and strengthen their sense of belonging and adaptability to the public sector.
The program covered a variety of topics, including: fostering core values of public officials, workplace etiquette, official document writing and accounting practices, and local cultural exploration and experiences.
In particular, the welcome kit (seal) provided to the new public officials symbolizes their commitment as they begin their careers in public service and will be used for official documents going forward.
Yang Suhyun, mayor of Yangju, said, "I sincerely welcome all of you as you take your first steps as public servants for the citizens," and added, "I hope this training will help you grow into key figures who will lead the future of Yangju City."
