'Daejeon RISE' Launched to Drive Regional and University Innovation

Daejeon Technopark Launches a Comprehensive Digital Hub

The official website for Daejeon RISE (Regional Innovation System & Education), which aims to drive innovation in the region and universities while strengthening communication functions, was officially launched on August 11.

This website, established by Daejeon Technopark, is designed to systematically and effectively provide information on Daejeon RISE's projects, achievements, and latest news. It is expected to serve as a digital hub platform for the innovation ecosystem of the region and its universities in the future.

The website has been built to allow users to easily access up-to-date information through a variety of features, including: an introduction to Daejeon RISE; information on participating universities and institutions; project announcements and university news; the Daejeon RISE Talent Certification System; and a promotional content archive.

Citizens and universities can now systematically check all aspects of Daejeon RISE's projects and receive related updates promptly. In addition, communication features such as FAQs and Q&A sections have been enhanced to broaden participation and collect feedback, which is expected to help improve the quality of project operations.

Business and institutional stakeholders can also access information not only about Daejeon RISE but also about projects promoted by the government and related organizations in one place. This is expected to provide broader support and more opportunities for collaboration.

In particular, the "Daejeon RISE Talent Certification System," which grants certificates to specialized talent who meet certain qualifications, is currently under development with the goal of launching this year. This system is expected to enhance corporate trust in the talent fostered through RISE, improve recruitment efficiency, and serve as an important driver for encouraging local settlement.

Kim Wooyeon, President of Daejeon Technopark, stated, "The launch of this website will bring Daejeon RISE closer to citizens," and added, "We will establish a transparent and trustworthy operational system by linking the existing performance management platform with the website."
