On August 11, independent research firm ValueFinder analyzed that Itoksy, which is conducting actual business operations in Ukraine, is likely to benefit as the possibility of a Russia-Ukraine ceasefire increases under pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump.
It has been reported that on August 15 (local time), President Trump will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. Since returning to the White House in January, President Trump has spoken with President Putin by phone six times, but they have not met in person. As a result, President Putin will set foot on U.S. soil for the first time in about 10 years, although not on the mainland.
Lee Chungheon, a researcher at ValueFinder, stated, "At the end of March, Itoksy, together with local SKS Group, completed the supply of 150 KG Mobility pickup trucks to the Ukrainian National Police. The total planned export of 400 vehicles to the police will be supplied in two phases, and it is highly likely that KRW 4.7 billion of the total contract amount of KRW 12.5 billion will be recognized as revenue in the second quarter of this year." He added that there is a possibility that contracts for the remaining 250 vehicles will be signed in the second half of the year.
Lee further explained, "Itoksy has also signed an MOU with BFG, a Ukrainian glass manufacturer, for a local plate glass factory and is currently carrying out preliminary work. The factory will be located about 70 km east of Kyiv, on a site of 43,000 square meters, and will have the capacity to meet 30 to 40 percent of the total national demand for glass in Ukraine."
He continued, "Ninety percent of the construction costs will be financed by the World Bank and the UN, and Itoksy plans to provide part of the remaining 10 percent. Therefore, if a ceasefire agreement becomes possible through this U.S.-Russia summit, not only will the speed of factory construction accelerate, but the company could also be highlighted as a key beneficiary of actual reconstruction in Ukraine."
