The Korea T-Ball Association held an extraordinary general meeting in Daegu on August 8 and elected Daehun Kwak, president of the 2·28 Democratic Movement Memorial Foundation, as its inaugural president.
President Daehun Kwak previously served as the head of Dalseo District in Daegu, a member of the National Assembly, and the president of the Saemaul Undong Central Association. He is currently serving as the president of the 2·28 Democratic Movement Memorial Foundation.
In his inaugural address, President Daehun Kwak stated, "Our top priority will be to secure membership in the Korea Sports Association, and I will do my utmost to promote the widespread adoption of T-Ball in school sports."
T-Ball (tee-ball, teeball, tee ball) is a sport derived from baseball. Unlike baseball, there is no pitcher; instead, players hit a ball placed on a tee and run around first, second, and third base to return home.
