The police are conducting a search after a fax was sent threatening to plant explosives at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul.
According to the Songpa Police Station in Seoul on August 10, at approximately 1:45 p.m. that day, a fax was sent to Korea Sports Industry Development, stating an intention to install explosives at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena located in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul. Korea Sports Industry Development is the organization responsible for managing the Olympic Gymnastics Arena.
The police were dispatched to the scene, evacuated the audience, and are currently conducting a search operation.
A police official stated, "No explosives have been found at the site so far."
