The Seoul High Court, which is responsible for security at the Seoul Court Complex in Seocho-gu, Seoul, announced on August 8 that the north gate of the Seoul Court Complex will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to midnight on August 11, when former President Yoon's insurrection trial will take place.
The main gate and the east gate will remain open, but security checks will be strengthened for all entrants. The same measures will apply on August 12, when Kim Geonhee's warrant review is scheduled.
All assemblies and demonstrations within the court premises will be strictly prohibited, and entry may be restricted for individuals carrying related items. However, there will be no complete restriction on the entry of private vehicles, except for official vehicles.
A court official stated, "In order to avoid any disruption to the proceedings, it is necessary to prepare in advance so that you can enter on time, taking into account possible congestion near the court and the time required for security checks."
