Man in His 60s Dies While Repairing Air Conditioner at Heating and Cooling Store in Gwangju

Police: "Suspected Electrocution... Investigating Exact Cause of Death"

At approximately 10:56 a.m. on August 8, a man in his 60s, identified as A, died while repairing an air conditioner at a heating and cooling appliance store in Ssangchon-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju.

Fire authorities responded to a report that "a person had collapsed" and transported A, who was in cardiac arrest, to the hospital, but he could not be revived.

A is reported to have suffered the accident while repairing a broken air conditioner inside the store. Police suspect electrocution as the cause of death and are investigating the exact circumstances.
