The Ministry of the Interior and Safety allocated 500 million KRW in special grants each to Jinju, Uiryeong, Changnyeong, Hapcheon, and Sancheong on July 22, and then provided 500 million KRW each to Hadong, Sancheong, and Hapcheon on July 25.

Subsequently, on August 7, 700 million KRW was distributed to Hamyang, and 300 million KRW each to Miryang and Geochang, bringing the total amount of special grants secured by Gyeongsangnam-do to 5.1 billion KRW.

The provincial government plans to prioritize the use of these funds for emergency restoration in areas affected by heavy rainfall, relief for displaced residents, and support activities at disaster sites.

A provincial official stated, "We will focus all our efforts on rapid emergency restoration to prevent secondary damage and to help affected residents return to their daily lives as quickly as possible."
