The "Priority Parking Spaces for Pregnant Women" were established to make it more convenient for pregnant women visiting public facilities such as city hall, libraries, health centers, and public parking lots. These spaces can only be used by vehicles with a "Pregnant Woman Vehicle Permit" displayed, and only when a pregnant woman is on board.

The "Pregnant Woman Vehicle Permit" is issued to women whose registered address is in Guri City and who are currently pregnant or within six months after childbirth. Applications can be made at the Guri City Health Center, Sutaek Health Branch, or Galmae Health Living Support Center.

Baek Kyunghyun, Mayor of Guri City, stated, "We have established the 'Priority Parking Spaces for Pregnant Women' to make Guri City the best city for raising children by improving convenience for pregnant women in terms of mobility and parking." He also requested, "I ask for the mature consideration of citizens to keep these parking spaces available for pregnant women, so that we can support them and help overcome the low birthrate crisis."

Guri City plans to further expand the installation of priority parking spaces for pregnant women at newly built public facility parking lots and affiliated public institutions in the future.
