The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) announced on August 8 that it will conduct an integrity training session for approximately 400 administrative public officials with less than four years of service. The training will take place on August 12 at the main auditorium of the Busan Education Research and Information Center.
This training program is designed to help newly appointed public officials internalize the value of integrity from the outset of their careers, and to foster a sense of responsibility and ethical awareness among practitioners.
The training will begin with opening remarks from Superintendent Kim Seokjun, followed by a special lecture by an integrity expert, and explanations of audit findings related to accounting and payroll issues.
The special lecture on integrity will cover real-life cases of integrity violations that may occur within organizations, as well as practical response strategies. In addition, it will present specific solutions to communication and conflict issues that MZ generation public officials are likely to encounter in the course of their duties. Through this, the training is expected to provide practical and beneficial education that can be directly applied in the workplace.
Superintendent Kim Seokjun stated, "Through this training, I hope that early-career public officials will develop an attitude of integrity from the very start of their public service careers and grow into confident officials who do not remain silent in the face of unjust instructions or organizational corruption."
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education plans to continue providing a variety of training programs and institutional support to strengthen the integrity competencies of public officials in the future.
