Held Around Dunsan Park
Free Admission for All
The Wanju Cultural Foundation (Chairman Yoo Heetae) will host the "Dunsan Water Pool Party - Somtaneun Culture Day" event from August 13 to August 17 in the area around Dunsan Park in Wanju.
According to the Wanju Cultural Foundation on August 8, this event is designed to help workers in industrial complexes, their families, and local residents enjoy culture close to home and cool off during the hot summer.
The event venue will feature a variety of water play facilities, including three medium- and small-sized water slides, a pool for infants, an index pool, and a large swimming pool measuring 10m by 10m. There will also be family-oriented experience booths, including a fishing experience.
In addition, recreational programs and an EDM party will be held every afternoon to enhance the summer atmosphere, offering participants unique experiences and lasting memories.
During the event period, a giveaway event will be held every day for the first 40 visitors on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants can choose one item per person, either a water gun or a waterproof mat, at the event site, adding extra fun to the water activities.
Admission is completely free, and the event will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Jung Chulwoo, Executive Director of the Wanju Cultural Foundation, said, "As this summer festival was planned to provide a brief, enjoyable, and refreshing break from the daily routine exhausted by the heat wave, we hope many residents will visit with their families and create precious memories together."
