This meeting was organized to raise the level of safety management at construction sites and to jointly seek ways to protect workers during the summer, in response to strengthened legal standards such as the enforcement of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and the reinforcement of the Industrial Safety and Health Act.

The focus of the meeting was on seeking concrete and actionable directions that could be implemented on-site, going beyond simple suggestions or public declarations.

During the meeting, discussions were held on strengthening site-centered safety measures and on practical response plans that partner companies could implement together. Participants agreed on the importance of a "corporate culture where both on-site workers and management accept safety as part of everyday life."

There was a consensus that, rather than simply complying with manuals, it is necessary to build a structure in which workers autonomously and proactively practice safety standards through their habitual behaviors and the overall atmosphere at the site. Some attendees pointed out blind spots in safety management they had experienced during actual work and emphasized that the voices from the field should be reflected in the system.

Lee Sangjoo, CEO of Dongmoon Construction, stated, "Safety is the core value of all our business activities and an uncompromisable top priority," adding, "A culture where not only management but also all on-site workers put safety first must be established." He also stressed, "During heat waves, it is important to adjust work intensity, minimize work during the hottest hours, and actively implement safety measures such as providing sufficient rest breaks."

A Dongmoon Construction representative said, "This meeting served as a platform for communication to realize the shared values of 'creating a safe working environment' and 'preventing serious accidents' together with our partner companies." The representative added, "We will continue to work closely with our partners to further strengthen on-site safety standards in the future."
