FocusAI announced on August 7 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with BPMG, a blockchain specialist company, for collaboration in artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain business.
FocusAI and BPMG plan to accelerate the development of a blockchain payment system based on each company's AI and blockchain technology capabilities. In addition, they intend to jointly pursue AI-driven businesses and enter the global AI solutions market.
Through this MOU, the two companies will cooperate in the following areas: discovering new businesses for AI-based solutions; securing domestic and global clients for joint AI solutions; collaborating on the development of blockchain-based payment systems; and identifying new business models based on blockchain technology.
BPMG is a company specializing in blockchain and digital asset infrastructure, and is simultaneously strengthening its blockchain technology based on the multi-chain electronic wallet platform 'KMINT' while expanding globally. By combining MPC/TSS (Multi-Party Computation/Threshold Signature Scheme)-based key security technology with an installation-free mini-app platform in KMINT, BPMG is able to ensure both finality and stability in its blockchain services.
Recently, BPMG has entered overseas markets such as Thailand and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where it is conducting pilot projects for stablecoin-based payments. The company is expanding the global digital asset ecosystem through the establishment of joint ventures and strategic partnerships with local enterprises.
FocusAI is accelerating its payment business, which includes SoftPOS, electronic wallets, and stablecoins. Following the launch of a consortium for P2P (peer-to-peer) payment infrastructure based on electronic wallets with BPMG, FocusAI is now pursuing the blockchain payment system business to secure future growth engines.
A company representative stated, "Through this MOU, we plan to carry out new businesses such as blockchain payment systems and AI-based joint projects," adding, "As we are engaged in strategic collaborations on a project-by-project basis with various companies including BPMG, Payonplus, Axis Mobility, VD Crux, and Wehub, we will continue to grow as a leading company in building the next-generation payment ecosystem."
