"AI and Mobility to Europe"... Korea Venture Business Association Recruiting Companies for SCEWC Participation

The Korea Venture Business Association announced that it is recruiting venture companies to participate in the Korea Pavilion at the '2025 Spain Barcelona Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC)', which will be held in Barcelona, Spain, starting from November 4, 2025.

SCEWC is the world's largest expo in the smart city sector, attracting participation from 860 global companies, 850 cities, and 135 countries every year. The event will feature over 150 side events and business networking opportunities on various topics including digital transformation, urban environment, mobility, and government innovation.

The association, in collaboration with KOTRA, will organize a joint Korea Pavilion and support seven venture companies. Participating companies will receive various benefits, including 70% support for exhibition participation and incidental expenses, one-way sea freight, pre-marketing and local promotion, as well as on-site support such as arranging buyer meetings and interpretation fees.

Any venture company preparing to enter the European or global market in smart city-related fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), data, Internet of Things (IoT), energy and environment, mobility, construction technology, security, finance, and drones is eligible to participate. Applications can be submitted online through the Korea Venture Business Association website and the SME Overseas Exhibition Portal until August 14, 2025.

An official from the association stated, "SCEWC is the stage where you can experience global trends related to smart cities most rapidly," and added, "It will be a strategic opportunity for venture companies hoping to enter the European market."
