The Sunchang Fermentation Tourism Foundation is recruiting operators for sales booths at the 'Sunchang Korea Tteokbokki Festa,' which will be held over two days from November 15 to 16.
According to the foundation on August 6, this year's Tteokbokki Festa, now in its second edition, is establishing itself as the nation's largest food festival centered on tteokbokki, going beyond a simple local event.
With tteokbokki, a beloved national snack enjoyed by people of all ages, as its theme, the festival will bring together creative and unique menus from across the country, along with a variety of snack foods, to offer visitors a special and unforgettable culinary experience.
The foundation plans to operate a wide range of diverse sales booths to satisfy the various tastes and preferences of festival visitors. Among these, a total of 30 booths?including 20 specializing in tteokbokki and 10 selling other snack foods?will be open for operator applications nationwide.
Applications will be accepted from August 11 to 18. To increase accessibility, both online and in-person submissions at the foundation will be available. Detailed information, participation requirements, and necessary documents can be found in the announcements section of the official website of the Sunchang Fermentation Tourism Foundation.
The foundation stated that operators will be selected based on the creativity, originality, and diversity of their menu offerings, while also comprehensively evaluating food quality and hygiene management capabilities.

Meanwhile, the '2025 Sunchang Korea Tteokbokki Festa' is set to be Korea's premier snack festival, bringing together popular tteokbokki brands from around the country, hidden culinary gems, and a variety of snack specialty stores. The event will be held from November 15 to 16 at Sunchang Fermentation Theme Park and the Sunchang Traditional Gochujang Folk Village area.
