Up to 200,000 Won Cashback for Subway and Bus Rides with Hyundai Card Apple Pay

Cashback and Point Accumulation Event

On August 6, Hyundai Card announced that it will hold a cashback and point accumulation event to celebrate the launch of the Apple Pay Tmoney service.


Up to 200,000 Won Cashback for Subway and Bus Rides with Hyundai Card Apple Pay

For payments made with Hyundai Card M or Hyundai Card MM, up to 100% of transportation expenses will be reimbursed, with a maximum limit of 200,000 won.


The event period runs until September 30. Applications for the event must be submitted through portal sites such as Naver by August 31.


Eligible transactions include using a postpaid transportation card for city buses or subways, as well as charging or using transportation cards such as Tmoney, Cashbee, or Ezzle.


Cashback and point accumulation benefits are also available for members of Private Label Credit Card (PLCC) programs.


Members who add a PLCC card to Apple Pay and make their first Apple Pay Tmoney charge of at least 30,000 won, and set up the 'auto-recharge' feature by September 30, are eligible.


Korean Air Card, NOL Card, Naver Hyundai Card, Costco Reward Hyundai Card, and Musinsa Hyundai Card will offer a 30,000 won cashback.


The Energy Plus Card provides a 30,000 won GS Caltex fuel discount coupon, while the Smile Card offers 30,000 won worth of Smile Cash, which can be used on Gmarket and Auction.


The Olive Young Hyundai Card provides a 30,000 won Olive Young gift card that can be used like cash, and the Nexon Hyundai Card awards 30,000 Nexon Hyundai Card points.


The Hyundai American Express Card offers 45,000 MR points for spending at least 600,000 won at all merchants. An additional 5,000 MR points will be awarded for the first Apple Pay Tmoney charge of at least 50,000 won.


SC First Bank co-branded credit card members will receive a 10,000 won cashback when their cumulative Apple Pay Tmoney charges reach at least 30,000 won.


A Hyundai Card representative stated, "The launch of Apple Pay Tmoney has greatly improved the convenience of Apple Pay for Hyundai Card members," and added, "We organized this event to help reduce transportation costs for our members."
