Orion announced on the 6th that it will be launching a new product in its Market O 'Tok' snack series, called 'Market O Baked Gim Tok'.

Market O Baked Gim Tok was developed in response to the recent global attention on gim (Korean seaweed) as a snack. The product reinterprets gim by adding sweetness to its savory taste, creating a unique snack. Sticks containing gim and kelp are coated in a mildly sweet soy sauce and sprinkled with aromatic gim powder, resulting in a light yet flavorful sweet-and-savory taste. The enlarged stick size provides an even crispier and crunchier texture.

The Market O Tok series, first introduced in 2020, has continued to be popular in the snack market thanks to its crunchy, bite-sized pieces and rich, natural flavors. The lineup has been strengthened with the addition of the new Baked Gim Tok, alongside the existing 'Ojingeo Tok' featuring the umami of roasted squid and 'Cheese Tok' with the rich flavor of cheddar cheese.
