Seoul Goods, the official souvenir brand operated by the Seoul Tourism Organization, has launched a series of art collaboration goods in partnership with three Seoul-based artists?Kang Junyoung, Graplex, and Kim Jihui?at all stores starting from August 4.
The Seoul Goods Artist Collaboration first began in 2024 with joint projects featuring artists Artnom, Lee Sara, and Hong Wonpyo. The art collaboration goods produced last year received an enthusiastic response from domestic and international consumers, with all initial quantities of eight items selling out.
The 2025 art collaboration goods feature 22 products in 13 categories, each capturing the image of Seoul as reinterpreted through the unique perspectives and sensibilities of Kang Junyoung, Graplex, and Kim Jihui. This year, differentiation was pursued from the planning stage by tailoring the product lineup to match each artist's individuality and design tone. The collaboration goods, ranging from practical items such as t-shirts, eco bags, and tumblers to design accessories like scarves and paperweights, strive to faithfully reflect Seoul’s landscapes and images as closely as possible to the original artworks.
Artist Kang Junyoung, well known for the "Speech Bubble" series that visualizes memories and emotions, presented a variety of goods inspired by the theme "Seoul, a city where culture and time converge," expressing the city's slogan "Seoul My Soul" through his artistic sensibility. He featured his signature oil painting-style speech bubbles on tumblers and also introduced a digitalized keyring. In addition, illustrations depicting Gwanghwamun and Namsan?symbols of Seoul?were incorporated into t-shirts and shoulder bags.

Kim Jihui, renowned for the "Sealed Smile" series, reinterpreted Seoul by combining traditional beauty with modern sensibility, depicting images of a king and queen wearing glasses. The collection has expanded to include practical goods such as tumblers, L-shaped files, and keyrings, as well as design accessories like paperweights, glasses pouches, and handkerchiefs. The witty reinterpretation of traditional elements stands out with a strong visual impact. Kim Jihui commented, "With a deep interest in tradition, I have explored various possibilities in Oriental painting for over ten years. I find it meaningful to be able to present the beauty of Seoul in an accessible way through this collaboration."
Graplex, who has established a unique graphic world through pixel art and bold black lines, incorporated the theme "Framing Everyday Life in Seoul" into a variety of goods, including t-shirts and tumblers. Graplex stated, "Having been born, raised, and working in Seoul, I am very pleased to share my Seoul with others." He depicted Seoul’s landmarks as colorful and trendy stories within frames, expanding the lineup to practical items such as t-shirts, tumblers, keyrings, umbrellas, and handkerchiefs.
