Jeonnam Office of Education Supports 'Second Act of Life' for Education Administrative Staff Nearing Retirement

Practical Training Focused on Life Planning, Financial Management, and Health Care

The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education has launched support for reemployment targeting education administrative staff who are nearing retirement.


The Office of Education announced on August 5 that it recently held a 'Reemployment Support Service Training for Education Administrative Staff Scheduled for Retirement' at the Suncheon Bay Ecological Culture Education Center and the Physical Education Center. The training was conducted for those scheduled to retire in 2026, focusing on practical topics such as life planning, health management, financial planning, and employment strategies.

The program was outsourced to a professional agency and operated for a total of 16 hours. Participants joined the training through advance registration. The Office of Education plans to expand various support measures to improve the quality of life after retirement. It will also establish a network for information sharing and psychological support among those scheduled for retirement.


Han Jongdeok, Director of Labor and Management Policy, stated, "It is the responsibility of the Office of Education to provide practical assistance to education administrative staff preparing for new challenges and changes after retirement," and added, "I hope this training will serve as an opportunity to enhance both individual growth and public trust."
