Selective Application in High-End Complexes
Daewoo Engineering & Construction is introducing a premium indoor golf practice facility within apartment complexes, equipped with professional putting simulators and bunker shot training areas. This space goes beyond a simple community facility, providing residents with a training environment where they can improve their skills based on data, much like professional athletes.
On August 4, Daewoo Engineering & Construction announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Brotin, a company specializing in golf putting simulators, to establish premium golf practice facilities featuring the "TourPutt" system in major complexes such as "Summit Limited Namcheon" and "Seomyeon Summit The New" in Busan.

The newly installed indoor practice facilities combine high-precision simulators with coaching content, distinguishing them from the simple putting zones or screen golf areas typically found in apartment communities. While the size and configuration will vary by complex, the facilities are designed to allow residents to practice key shots such as putting, approach shots, and bunker shots indoors.
Residents will be able to train on a "custom putting green" that replicates the slopes and lines of an actual golf course. The "TourPutt Ground" system precisely simulates putting lines and helps users develop a sense for real play through repeated practice.
In addition, the sensor-based putting simulator "TourPutt Circle" will be installed. This system collects and analyzes putting data such as distance, direction, and break line, providing quantitative feedback to users. Training content developed by putting coach Choi Jonghwan, who has coached world-class professional golfers such as Kim Arim, Lee Jeongeun, and Yoon Yina, will also be provided, enabling personalized training for everyone from amateurs to advanced players.
A Daewoo Engineering & Construction representative stated, "The introduction of TourPutt is a premium community strategy that elevates the leisure experience of our residents. By adding a technology-integrated community space to the high-end lifestyle pursued by the Summit brand, we will continue to expand and differentiate the residential experience."
Daewoo Engineering & Construction also proposed an indoor golf practice facility featuring putting and bunker zones in collaboration with TourPutt during the bidding for the Gaepo Woosung 7th Reconstruction Project in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
