Medieage Selected for 2025 MyData Service Support Project

Medieage Selected for 2025 MyData Service Support Project

Medieage, a subsidiary of AI analytics solution specialist MoaData and led by CEO Lee Geonwoong, announced on August 5 that it has been selected as a final participant in the "2025 MyData Service Support Project," jointly organized by the Personal Information Protection Commission and the Korea Internet & Security Agency. Medieage is a company specializing in digital healthcare data analysis.

Medical MyData refers to a system that allows individuals to collect and manage their own health and medical data in one place, and to transmit and utilize this data with various institutions (such as medical and research institutions) as needed. This support project aims to expand citizen-oriented MyData services based on the right to request the transfer of personal information. To achieve this, the Korea Internet & Security Agency provides direct schedule management and consulting for service development and designation as a specialized institution, enabling companies to accelerate their medical MyData business.

Based on its current HealthSketch service, Medieage plans to advance its "personalized health management service using MyData-based health indicators," with the goal of providing customized health management services that citizens can experience in their daily lives.

The core of this project is to enable more systematic and secure use of each citizen's health information through a standardized MyData transmission system. Medieage aims to transition from the previous scraping-based data collection method to the official personal information transfer request system, strengthening service stability and security with an API-based approach. The company also seeks to obtain the status of a specialized institution for personal information management.

Lee Geonwoong, CEO of Medieage, stated, "Through this project, we aim to help each citizen proactively utilize their own health information and achieve more precise and efficient health management," adding, "Ultimately, by expanding MyData services that citizens can directly experience, we will continue to grow as a leading company specializing in digital healthcare data analysis."

Meanwhile, this support project is being promoted with the goal of accelerating the government's MyData policy and revitalizing the industry. A total of five projects have been selected, with each project receiving up to 500 million KRW in support (up to 200 million KRW for advancement projects).
