The project will run for one month starting from August 4 at a total of three hypermarket locations in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The same product will be displayed, and consumer purchasing behavior, advertising response, and sales increase effects will be quantitatively compared and analyzed. The research team led by Professor Kyung Nayoung of the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore will directly participate to analyze and compare purchase responses by gender and age group, conversion rates relative to product exposure, and sales growth rates compared to the previous month and the same period last year. The findings will be published in an academic paper.

Shin Hyunil, Director of the Robot Advertising Task Force at VD Robotics, stated, "This project serves as an opportunity to quantitatively prove how effective robots are compared to existing advertising and promotional methods in actual retail environments." He added, "The fact that a world-renowned university is academically verifying the sales impact of robots will serve as a trigger for robots to spread as a new media for promotional marketing across various retail sites."
