Experience Five Climate Crisis-Themed Activities
from August 6 to 12
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province will operate the program "Summer 2025, Now is the Golden Time for the Earth and Me" at the Climate Change Experience Education Center from August 6 to August 12, to coincide with the summer vacation period.
This program, under the theme "Five-Day Operation to Save the Earth," is designed for elementary school students and adults. It offers a variety of hands-on activities related to the climate crisis, focusing on five topics?water, forest, air, soil, and energy?organized by day of the week.
The programs for elementary school students include: ▲Water Drop Operation (August 6) ▲Green Forest Operation (August 7) ▲Clear Air Operation (August 8) ▲Soil Life Operation (August 9) ▲Energy Operation (August 12).
The program is structured to help children naturally recognize the climate crisis and connect it to practical actions through various topic-based activities such as observing the water cycle, playing with trees and in the forest, understanding fine dust, exploring life forms in the soil, and experiencing renewable energy.
For adults, a "Special Lecture in the Gap?15 Minutes to Answer the Earth's Questions" program has also been prepared. It consists of eco-friendly practice experiences such as eco-friendly financial management education and upcycling with sock yarn.
Those interested can register on a first-come, first-served basis through the Yongin City integrated reservation website.
