Onnuri Gift Certificate Reimbursement
for Customers Purchasing Agricultural and Livestock Products
On August 4, the Masanhappo District of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held an Onnuri Gift Certificate reimbursement event and a campaign to promote the consumption of agricultural and livestock products at the Masan Fish Market, aiming to revitalize the traditional market during the summer vacation season.
This Onnuri Gift Certificate reimbursement event will run until August 9. Customers who purchase domestically produced agricultural and livestock products will receive approximately 30% of their purchase amount reimbursed in Onnuri Gift Certificates. The event is designed to encourage the use of traditional markets and to boost the local economy.
In addition to the Onnuri Gift Certificate reimbursement, this event also allows the use of livelihood consumption coupons at the traditional market, which is expected to further stimulate local consumption.
Seo Hogwan, head of Masanhappo District Office, stated, "The best way to revive the local economy is to visit the sites and participate in consumption to energize the local economy. I hope many citizens will visit the market, enjoy fresh agricultural and livestock products, and take advantage of the reimbursement benefits."
Cheon Taemun, president of the Masan Fish Market Merchants Association, said, "This Onnuri Gift Certificate reimbursement event is a great support for merchants who have been struggling with continued price increases and reduced consumption. I hope that practical support to invigorate traditional markets and local businesses will continue in the future."
