President Lee Jaehyuk Calls for Unified Opinions Among Executives and Employees

On August 4, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation (President Lee Jaehyuk) held a 'Mid- to Long-Term Management Strategy Sharing Session' presided over by President Lee Jaehyuk.


During this session, all executives and employees shared the results of management strategy adjustments aimed at strengthening the corporation's ability to respond to the local extinction crisis facing North Gyeongsang Province, expanding public interest projects led by residential welfare initiatives, and reinforcing the public roles assigned to local public enterprises. Based on unified internal opinions, they pledged to pursue a wider range of activities moving forward.

The Mid- to Long-Term Management Strategy Sharing Session proceeded in the following order: analysis of past management performance and identification of areas for improvement, followed by an introduction of key strategic projects to realize the corporation's future vision as a public developer. Key topics included understanding company-wide priority goals such as management performance analysis and management objectives, encouraging active communication to internalize management strategies among all employees, and setting the GBDC management direction for swift response to major changes in the management environment, including the launch of a new government.


At the end of the session, there was a detailed explanation of the projects that Gyeongbuk Development Corporation should focus on in the future. These included housing supply projects such as contract-based purchase rental housing to improve residential welfare for North Gyeongsang Province residents, renewable energy projects to achieve carbon-neutral management and create environmental value, and the establishment of national industrial complexes in Andong, Uljin, and Yeongju as a cornerstone for revitalizing the local economy. President Lee Jaehyuk emphasized that, in order to achieve major results in these strategic projects, it is essential to establish a clear direction for the corporation's goals and to act in unified solidarity based on this established direction at this point in time.


Lee Jaehyuk, President of Gyeongbuk Development Corporation, stated, "The management environment surrounding our corporation is continuously changing, and in order to respond quickly and consistently achieve key results as we have so far, having an established direction is more important than anything else. Within the organization, the role that provides such direction is precisely the management strategy, and for the management strategy to be effectively implemented under a well-established system, it is necessary to form a consensus among all executives and employees." He added, "It is for this reason that we held this sharing session, and the various opinions exchanged with executives and employees will be actively reflected not only in our management strategy but also in our key projects, so that we can continue to deliver tangible results that residents can experience.
