Woori Asset Management's High Plus Bond Fund Surpasses 3 Trillion Won in Net Assets

The net assets of Woori Asset Management's 'Woori High Plus Bond' fund have surpassed 3 trillion won.

On August 4, Woori Asset Management announced that as of August 1, the net assets of the 'Woori High Plus Bond Securities Investment Trust No.1' reached 3 trillion and 1.1 billion won. The High Plus Bond fund, which ranked first in net asset size among domestic public offering funds (excluding ETFs and MMFs) last year, continues to expand its scale this year as well, based on stable returns.

The High Plus Bond fund is designed to pursue stable interest income through a portfolio focused on credit bonds. By flexibly adjusting duration, the fund seeks not only interest income from bond investments but also excess returns generated by duration effects.

Woori Asset Management is the only domestic asset management company that holds more than three trillion-won-level funds (excluding ETFs and MMFs). As of August 1, the net assets of the 'Woori Short-term Bond Securities Investment Trust' and the 'Woori Ultra Short-term Bond Securities Investment Trust' exceeded 2.5 trillion won and 1.3 trillion won, respectively. The company continues to uphold its reputation as a 'bond specialist'.

Kim Donghwan, Head of Bond Management, stated, "Thanks to the interest and trust of investors, our flagship bond funds have also been able to grow," adding, "We will continue to respond flexibly to market conditions and strive to pursue both stability and profitability."
