KCC Posts 140.4 Billion Won Q2 Operating Profit...Silicone and Paint Support Performance

Sales Fall 4.1% to 1.7 Trillion Won

On August 4, KCC announced that its sales for the second quarter reached 1.7053 trillion won, with an operating profit of 140.4 billion won. These figures represent decreases of 4.1% and 0.1%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

Net profit for the period turned positive, reaching 893.3 billion won.

A KCC representative explained, "Although the building materials division has been affected by challenging market conditions, we achieved results similar to last year through a diversified portfolio including silicone and paint."
