The district initially planned to issue 320 million won worth of Jungnang Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates. However, the issuance volume was increased to accommodate growing user demand and to help reduce the delivery fee burden on small business owners. In the first half of the year, 200 million won was issued first. On August 8, an additional 200 million won will be issued, bringing the total operation for this year to 1.2 billion won.

The 'Jungnang Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificate' can be purchased at a 15% discount through the Seoul Pay Plus app. The monthly purchase limit per person has been raised from 100,000 won to 200,000 won, and the maximum holding limit is 1 million won. The certificate is valid for one year from the date of purchase, and users can also benefit from a 30% income tax deduction when using it.

In addition to the 15% discount, when using the gift certificate through the public delivery app 'Seoul Delivery+Ttaenggyeoyo', users can enjoy additional discounts such as a 10% cashback and 5% point accumulation, for a total discount of up to 30%. Moreover, promotional events are being held in partnership with eight chicken specialty brands, offering discounts and a 10,000 won coupon after two uses.

Small business owners only need to pay a 2% intermediary fee and a 0.5% payment fee when accepting the gift certificate, which are lower than those charged by private delivery apps. They also benefit from the 'Three No Fees' policy, which means there are no advertising fees, no entry fees, and no monthly usage fees. This is expected to help improve their profitability.

Ryu Kyunggi, Mayor of Jungnang District, stated, "The Jungnang Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificate supports small business owners struggling with high intermediary fees on private delivery apps and can lead to valuable spending that revitalizes the local economy." He added, "We will continue to closely monitor economic conditions and resident demand and will consider additional issuances of the gift certificate in the future."
