A new nighttime lighting facility has been completed along a 1.3 km barefoot walking path on the newly constructed Hyundai Motor Road, located behind the Sera 3rd Apartment Complex in Hwasun-eup, Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do, making it a new local attraction.

According to Hwasun County on August 3, a total of 400 million won from special grant taxes was invested to install 44 new LED landscape lights in order to ensure residents' safety during nighttime walks and to create a more pleasant walking environment.

This section previously had a barefoot walking trail, but there were repeated complaints about the lack of nighttime lighting, which made it inconvenient to use in the evening. In particular, while streetlights had already been installed along the existing 1 km trail from Daegwang Greentown 2nd Apartment Complex to Hwasun High School, there was no lighting in the connecting sections before and after, causing significant inconvenience for users.

However, through this project, lighting facilities were newly installed not only in the middle section of the existing trail but also in the connecting sections before and after, allowing the entire 2.3 km stretch to be used as a single continuous walking path.

In particular, the installed LED landscape lighting is not only highly energy-efficient but also features excellent design, providing residents with a safe and beautiful nighttime walking environment and raising expectations among the community.

Bang Sangyeol, Director of Urban Affairs at Hwasun County, stated, "We will continue to make efforts to improve the walking trail environment so that residents can use it more comfortably in the future."
