Hyundai AutoEver Obtains TISAX Mobility Information Security Certification

Hyundai AutoEver has obtained the global information security certification in the mobility sector, 'TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment eXchange)'.

Hyundai AutoEver acquired AL3 (Assessment Level 3), the highest grade in the areas of prototype protection and information security. TISAX is operated by the European Network Exchange (ENX) and uses assessment criteria developed by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).

This TISAX certification means that Hyundai AutoEver has a security system at a global standard. For example, when transmitting core vehicle software (SW) technologies developed by the company to clients, it follows export policies and separate security processes tailored to each client type.

With this certification, Hyundai AutoEver has also secured global market competitiveness. As connected cars, which link various types of information online, are gaining attention, the importance of mobility security is also increasing. This is why global automakers require their partners to obtain TISAX certification.

Separately from the TISAX certification, Hyundai AutoEver has also maintained the ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) certification for over 20 years. The ISO 27001 certification is an international standard in the field of information security, established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).

Choi Wonhyuk, Head of Cybersecurity Business Division at Hyundai AutoEver, emphasized, "Based on this TISAX certification, we will further strengthen our security system that clients can trust."
